about

Catlow is indie-pop acclaimed musician Natasha Thirsk (formerly of The Dirtmitts). Catlow’s debut album, Kiss The World (2006), had critics calling it “hopelessly catchy” with “arresting angular grooves” and “lithe, intelligent vocals". The long-awaited follow-up album, Pinkly Things, highlights Thirsk‘s coy vocals as they float over dense atmospheric guitar rock with blippy synth textures and a power-pop heart. Sing-song melodies flex their electro muscles within sweet, eclectic songwriting, chilly neo-disco while falling back on hot indie rocks. Pinkly Things was recorded at The Factory in Vancouver where Thirsk worked with Marcel Rambo and Hayz Fischer to produce the album. Tracks on the album were co-written with a variety of musicians - Dave Hodge, Jamie Di Salvio (Bran Van 3000), Mike Miguel Sanchez to name a few.
